Issues Turning On
The screen won’t turn on - likely culprit is that the power cable not connected into the back of the Plum or into the power outlet. It may also mean that the power switch was not flipped to on position. Check these items out then contact support@plum.wine if issues persist.
Issues Connecting Wifi
Plum's run on an 802.11 b/g/n on the 2.4GHz spectrum, with WPA-2 security settings. It also cannot connect to hidden networks or support a captive portal.
Activating a Plum on my.plum.wine
The activation code on the screen of the Plum will refresh every 120 seconds and it needs to remain on the Plum’s screen while entered into my.plum.wine
Getting an Empty Argon error:
While this happens rarely, it is possible that the Plum’s argon canister may have pushed itself loose during transit but likely remains full. To check this, simply open up the small panel on the back of the Plum using the included T10 tamper-resistant L key and take out the argon tank. The argon tank should look like the pictures below, with 2 black undamaged O-Rings at the top.
While the argon tank is out, the fullness of the tank can be assessed by pressing on the center valve on argon canister. If the pin is unable to be pressed down, it confirms that the tank remains full. If the pin goes down, it indicates that the argon tank has drained during transit.
To reinstall the Plum’s argon tank, simply go to Settings > Argon and follow the onscreen instructions. Reach out to Support if any tools for this process are missing.
If the pin is able to be depressed down, reach out to Support@plum.wine with the serial number from under Settings > General > About to further assist.
